11:15- 11:30 Snack

11:30-11:45 Morning Meeting

                  Introduce new letter(s)

                  Introduce new Sightword(s)

                  Sing Sightword Songs

                  Calendar- Calendar Songs

                  Weather- Tallies

                  Counting by 1’s, 5’s, 10’s

                  Shared Reading

11:45-11:55  Writer’s Workshop

11:55-12:30   Journals

         Write 3-5 sentences in Writing Journals

12:30- 12:45  Developmental Centers

         (Use center rotation located on board)

12:45- 12:55   Prepare for Lunch (Dr. Jean Letter Sounds song #4—Transition)

12:55- 1:30   LUNCH

1:30- 1:45  Restroom/ Pack up Lunchboxes/ Collect Coats (if necessary)

1:45- 2:20   RECESS

2:25- 3:00  Math

3:00-3:30 Science/Social Studies

3:30  Pack up/ Clean up room (wipe down tables, pick up trash, take out trash)

3:40  Dismissal in Gymnasium for bus riders & car riders
